BIOGRAPHY

As a child Jeanette began singing in a rural Missouri gospel choir, only to begin a career as the lead singer in the rock and roll band Exodus at the age of 18.By the time she was 21 she was performing with the director of entetainment of the PLAYBOY CLUB in St. Louis, Mo. with the Joe Bozzi Revue. Then on to The Steve Marino Review a big band. For 12 years she was the lead singer succeeding Tina Turner with the rock and roll hall of fame legend Ike Turner, and the Ike Turner Revue.

At the recent World Championships of Performing Arts (competing with hundreds of other entrants) she took first place gold medals in 5 separate categories. Blues, rock, country, rap and gospel. She has cross over appeal to a wide variety of audiences. She has performed around the world with the Ike Turner Revue, and at blues festivals across America with headliners such as B.B. King, John Lee Hooker, the Blues Brothers, Bryan Adams, Tommy Castro, Three Dog Night, Robert Plant, Elton John, Herbie Hancock, The Foo Fighters, Shomeka Copeland and the Allman Brothers.

Jeanette has recorded 2 blues tinged country albums on the Legends Record Label www.legendrecords.com with such artists as Freddie Hart and Merle Kilgore and is presently actively involved in developing another album intended for release with a major label. This album will contain previously unreleased tracks given her by veteran song writers who appreciate her ability to bring their songs to life.
